We are not gentiles

Here is one of the most misunderstood set of verses in the entire Bible:

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light, who once were not a people, but now the people of Elohim/Alahim who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion (1 Peter 2: 9-10).

Contrary to how these verses are nearly always misunderstood, Peter was not referring to Gentiles.

Friends, I am introducing you to a subject that is near and dear to my heart. Virtually all of us who have believed in Yahusha as the Messiah are descendants of the biblical Abraham. We are his spiritual and physical descendants. Of this I am certain. It’s a sworn promise:

By Myself I have sworn, declares YAHUAH, because you have done this, and have not withheld your son, your only son, that I shall certainly bless you, and I shall certainly increase your seed as the stars of the heavens and as the sand which is on the seashore… And in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice (Genesis 22:16-18).

Other promises are equally certain. YAHUAH said he would scatter His chosen people among the nations where they would be “swallowed up” and altogether lose their identity as Israelites. They would in effect regard themselves as Gentiles even as they do now. But we are not Gentiles. We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a set-apart nation that we should proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvellous light. We were once not people; scattered, lost, forgotten, and without compassion. But now we are a people again, the recipients of the Almighty’s compassion and faithfulness to His sworn promises.

Recall what Yahusha said: I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt 15:24).

I trust this subject will soon lodge in your heart as it has in mine. Please see the rather lengthly Article, THE UNTED STATES IN PROPHECY. For now, here is a short and well crafted video:
